Our focus at High Learn will be to delve deeper into the GCSE maths syllabus, providing students with preparation for the exams.
At GCSE level, the Mathematics curriculum covers various key topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and number theory. Students learn about equations, functions, graphs, and sequences, as well as properties of shapes, angles, and trigonometry. They explore statistical concepts like data analysis, probability, and interpreting charts and graphs. Number skills include factors, prime numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, and basic arithmetic operations. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are emphasised throughout the course.
